On zilvia that is, mods are getting lazy, people keep posting the same shut over and over and very little actual help. Especially for the newcomers.

Instead of helping the new people you gotta be a dick, and a smart ass and you know who you are!
But behind the computer screen I can be who ever I want to be!

Lastly, to the advertisors, you gotta remember you are selling to broke ass 240sx owners, so give us a real deal and not rob us

i agree 100% i try to frequent this site alot more now that i'm back in the 240 scene and thing i liked most about it was how welcoming everyone on here was. we all started out as 18-19yr old kids wanted to get into the 240 scene so remember that...instead of picking on the newbs (granted some may deserve it) help em' out and treat them like you were when you first joined. as far as the mods...i think they're doing their job quite well...hell i hate posting shit for sale on here cause the mods enforce the rules so carefully that i cant sneak extra bumps in lol :hide: however i their have been a few times i def disagreed with them but hey, i dont volunteer my free time policing a site for free...so we'll agree to disagree...

and lastly...yeah i understand that these prices are "specials" but it would prob generate more volume if sometimes they were cheaper. why sell to 3 for 50 when you can sell to 10 for 30...but all in all with the new build i think i've hit every vendor on here up for stuff and will begin purchasing in a few days. so even though the prices are only slightly lower then retail...thats still beats the hell outta paying retail
/end rant

1. ANY and EVERY question that one could possibly have on an s-chassis has been answered on here. Yes, we were all noobs at one point, however, what separates the flamed noob and the embraced one is the said noob's initiative to find answers on his or her own. Point is, look for shit your self and you wont get bitched at for being a lazy dumb ass.

2. Advertisers are running a business. The objective of a business is to make money. Yes, as consumesr we want to save as much money possible when making a purchase, but stop acting like these businesses fucking owe it to you or something to sell you parts at a ridiculously cheap price. I used to work in the industry and trust me, this type of "well you NEED to sell it to me dirt cheap cuz MY ass is broke" annoys ALL shop employees to no end. It's fucking insulting. If you dont like the price, go elsewhere. Simple as that. If you can't afford something, SAVE. The deals on here are real deals. Enough with the sense of entitlement just cuz YOU'RE the one who's broke. Get the fuck outta here with that noise.

Sorry, but that really hits a nerve for me. For years, i had to deal with little pissants calling in and coming in with that same whinny ass shit. "What?! Thats too much! I can get it at 'my friends shop' in whoknowswhere for $X amount." These clowns have no idea what it costs to run a shop, buy parts, ship, import, etc.

Think about what you're saying. "I'm broke, but i want expensive, high quality parts, so sell them to me for cheap or i'll call you a robber on forum and bad mouth you to all my friends." Yeah, makes perfect sense.....:jerkit:

end rant.

and for the record, i'll say every last word of that in person.

Hi, moderator here!

You know that there aren't many of us left, right?
You know we have real jobs, lives, families and stuff to take care of as well, right?
You know that we need to make room to sleep in spite of this, right?
Your blanket assessment of "lazy mods" is insulting. Simple fact is that we can't be EVERYWHERE all at once, and damned if we can STOP people from posting dumbshit threads, which seems to be the rule rather than the exception, this week especially. We are in a reactionary position, meaning we are to take action when shit takes place.
I am reacting to this thread as necessary as a conduit to my closing it. It is in the wrong place, and would not do much better IN the right place, as it is more finger pointing than it does bring any good.

I am blaming lazy USERS, expecting to be spoonfed every little bit of information, coddled to and given the world's greatest reacharound because they're trying to spend money, but don't want to blow it all, or wholesale bitching when they ask a stupid question and get raked across the coals for it.
But hey, what do I know?
