I've never heard good things about Nitto as a serious performance tire.

So basically they made a tire based on a concept that isn't even true... since it's excessive toe that wears tires, not camber... and the performance of the tire when the alignment is set correctly is most likely compromised.

Nitto licks balls.

Interesting concept though.

Sounds like they probably just put a harder, longer wearing (and un-sticky) patch of rubber on the inner 2" of the tire.

Why do you think camber doesn't waer a tire? Excessive camber and toe are both capable of prematurely or unevenly wearing a tire.

Now 2 degrees or camber may not make much difference. especially with some hard cornering to wear the outer should blocks, but on a street driven, mostly highway car with 3+ degrees and you can't tell me the fact that the inner shoulder is down to cords and the outer tread blocks are barely scuffed has nothing to do with camber. Simply put you are placing more load on the inside of the tire than the outside. If you hold a pencil at 25 degrees and drag the eraser across the table, is the uneven wear do to improper toe angles or the uneven wear from being slanted?

-3.5 for about 3-4 months.
FRONT TIRE (same on both sides):

and yes i still use these tires up front. they are good for another 2-3 track events. will replace end of march and put these on the rear of car for a event (or 2 if im lucky)

this is after 4 DRIFT track events. 3 trips to central californai (4 hour drive 300 some miles one way), daily driving (freeway) everyday and around town and to the track

rear tires:
oh toe on the driver side rear...killed my tires FAST but it doesnt matter. my tires only last in rear for 1 month before they are replaced.

Heard some bad things about nitto tires, however it looks like they're taking a step i the right direction. Kinda wanna try them and see if they're as bad as hte rest of thet're tires.

dousan, why dont u get your tires flipped? like take the left tire, and put it on the right said and so on. thats what i did with mine on the back (havent got rear upper links yet.) that may save u some money...

oh, and how do you like the dunlops, grip wise? im a grip kid myself, would u suggest them for autox and such? they look like a good tire, but they have low ratings compared to the yoko's and even kumhos on the tire rack site. id just like to get a non biased opinion...

2 more track events ..they'll be flipped after my next one, then last 2 more events
i'll have them flipped for DD5!

dunlops ok. i am going ES100 front, dunlops back. my friend has it and we both drift about same speed and its great. so im changing over for my next set. either that or S-03s

autox? azenis or S03 or es100 i hear are great.

I love the ES100. AWESOME tire.

if you are looking for a VERY grippy summer tire, you can't get much better than the azenis. they are cheap and some of the best tires out there. the ES100s are also very good, but if all you're looking for is a summer performance tire, get the azenis.

I'm autoXing on the Dunlop FM901's and they're not too bad. I'm not too far behind someone with a better suspension setup, and wider BFG KDW's.

I've heard the Khumo MX's are suppposed to be a good autoX tire.... supposedly they were made to compete with the Azenis.

the so3's are not as sticky as the s02's. On my s2k, the so3's tend to slip easier. I do a lot of mountain driving (not drifting, i dont want to fall off the cliff and die) and the s02's grip better. But overall, the s03's are a great tire. Best daily driver tire i ever bought. I have no experience with track tires or anything of that sort.
