I have a USDM 1990 S13, and I was wondering how are you suppose to install the JDM Digital Climate Control? The Digital Climate Control came complete with all the wiring, but my friend says that it's still missing a cable or something. Can someone help me out?  :confused:Still Slippin' Still Slidin'

bah
its not worth
its a COMPLETE rewiring job
you need all the heat sensors (i think 2 or 3 of them???)
then you gotta splice the JDM one into the main harness
splice here and there

one guy on Freshalloy did it...aduxpower i think his name is (ryan)
took A LOT of work. but it works. ask him, he should be able to give some advice/reality slap on it.

more for the bling factor if you dont go all out
not worth.

Russ did it (S14 to S14 though) and swore he would never do it again. lol it is a total rewiring job of damn near everything under the dash. but MAN does it look good! he's still gotta reverse the motor doors though. put it on defrost and it blows on your feet lol

Was that all you need for the conversion, just the 3 heat sensors? If so, what else do I need?

ok i understand that some people here make fun of other people here who are into JDM. you know... phrases like, "JDM tyTe yo!" and "this guy is kidding, right? :bash: " you guys suck. seriously whats wrong with someone liking JDM? it's their own choice, their own car. unless you bought them the car they are trying to fix up- i'd advise you to shut up. bashing on JDM lovers is so stupid. do you see anyone making fun of you guys cuz your girl looks like your sister? no... and even if she didnt look like your sister, you have a small penis. so ha! if you dont like JDM soo much, stick with your KA24 and dont ever cross the SR20DET, RB, and VG lines and only go with top quality erubuni body kits. ok with that said, i love yall.... holla.

-mixedwell ;)

ps- go peel off your FAKE option2 sticker, and put it over your mouth. thanks... MUAH!

you also need all the sensors too. Switching from your stock one to a jspec unit is a lot of work and in my opinion, not worth it. The reason being is, if you want your car to be just like a japan 180sx, you need to basically take your dash off and sit there and splice the two harnesses together. You also need to have the sensors and the motors that control the temperature. The US control is a slide type, where as the Jspec unit is electronic. Meaning, if you follow the link in the above reply, you wont be able to adjust the temperature of the air. i'm sure there's a lot more that needs to be done, but this is just a start. If you do decide to switch to the digital gauge, good luck....lates
