Some vacuum hoses on my single cam are disconnected and I can't figure out where they're supposed to go. I have a couple of diagrams from the web and from the chilton manual but it's still sketchy to me. Need to fix this to pass smog.:ughd:

These two hard lines confuse the hell out of me.
http://img196.imageshack.us/img196/539/0816091223.jpg (http://img196.imageshack.us/i/0816091223.jpg/) http://img196.imageshack.us/img196/0816091223.jpg/1/w640.png (http://g.imageshack.us/img196/0816091223.jpg/1/)

Zoomed out for a better look of where they're located.
http://img194.imageshack.us/img194/2060/0816091223a.jpg (http://img194.imageshack.us/i/0816091223a.jpg/) http://img194.imageshack.us/img194/0816091223a.jpg/1/w640.png (http://g.imageshack.us/img194/0816091223a.jpg/1/)

And I'm not really sure if these 2 hoses are connected at the right place. (The hoses that my thumb and middle finger are touching.)

Again I zoomed out to show where those 2 are at.

Oh and last one is this plug that is just hooked up on the air intake hose. (Not sure if that one is right too.)
http://img188.imageshack.us/img188/4305/phonepics019.jpg (http://img188.imageshack.us/i/phonepics019.jpg/) http://img188.imageshack.us/img188/phonepics019.jpg/1/w2080.png (http://g.imageshack.us/img188/phonepics019.jpg/1/)

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

This is what I'm looking at.
http://img194.imageshack.us/img194/513/9194s13componentsid1.jpg (http://img194.imageshack.us/i/9194s13componentsid1.jpg/) http://img194.imageshack.us/img194/9194s13componentsid1.jpg/1/w800.png (http://g.imageshack.us/img194/9194s13componentsid1.jpg/1/)

Colored one
http://img193.imageshack.us/img193/5899/colorvacuum.jpg (http://img193.imageshack.us/i/colorvacuum.jpg/) http://img193.imageshack.us/img193/colorvacuum.jpg/1/w800.png (http://g.imageshack.us/img193/colorvacuum.jpg/1/)

I'm pretty sure that the two hard lines are part of the 3 teal lines coming from the pressure regulator solenoid in the colored diagram because there's another hard line a little bit to the left of those 2 with a hose that connects to the canister(That's what they're calling it in chilton's)next to the air filter.

Pretty sure this would help.

You should be able to use the vacuum hose drawing from the FSM to find where they go. I would just use that and slowly follow every vacuum line to see if its correct.

The first two I can't really tell which ones they are but could they possibly be #10 and 11 from the vacuum hose diagram. They go to the EGR control valve.

The ones on the rear of the head look to be the PR control solenoid valve and SCV control solenoid valve. Can't really tell with your picture there either.

The last one there should be a T on the end of it with one end going across the front of the engine bay to the AIV controls and the other end going to the the metal hardlines running across the top of the intake runners which actually could be one of the solutions to the first picture you put up.

Just so you know I passed emissions in NJ with only the EGR valve, AAC valve and air regulator hooked up.

Wow, thanks much man. I'm not sure about 10 and 11 but I'm gonna stare long and hard tomorrow at the diagrams and the lines lol. For the ones on the rear of the head, I found a little pic in the chilton's manual that's gonna be a lot of help, it shows how they should look. The last one might be a little tricky. Thanks again for the help man!:faint:
