Ok, i've noticed this problem while back just ignored it until now.
It happens when im slowing down going on 1st, 2nd, or 3rd gear while the rpm drops below 2k or 3k when it is barely moving or has any power but enough to keep the car moving but instead I can feel and hear grinding noise from the tranny and the clutch pedal.

What could this be/mean?

i think i have the same problem...are you in gear when you hear a faint grinding sound? does your shifter vibrate slightly as well? i'm guessing i'm gonna need a new tranny :P

aftermarket clutch? im pretty sure it has to do with resonances not dampened out by aftermarket clutch disk springs. my old rps used to be super loud and the new act is a little quieter. old clutch sounded just fine.

sounds like the bearings on the gears if its just first gear that it could just be ur main bearing. But since it also happens in other gears its probably shot bearing. Please change because they might bust on you and mess up the gears with all that floating metal in the tranny.

yea its while im in gear slowing down and right when it drops to low like 2-3k it would happen. I dont recall my shifter vibrating though.

I will update this as im going to take the tranny apart soon.

Other than that, it drives fine.

I guess its time for a new car, less fixing :p
