ok i just placed in a full 3" exhaust from the downpipe to the back of the car. its a stright pipe no resornator no cat no muffler. i dont like it i like my cars deep sounding but yet low tone. i dont want raspy or a civic sounding car like it sounds now. i want low tone and deep anyone know what i should do to get the tune im looking for. i just need to no do i need to resanator or not and whats a quit but yet deep and nice tune muffler to get. normalely anything chrome is rice sounding i was thinking carbin fiber what you all think any sound clips i can here of what ur running?
P.s if you didnt no already i have a sr20det redtop

u r going to need a muffler and a rezz i really dont think wasting your money on a carbon fiber muffler will help

any muffler and a rez should do the trick?

I love my apex n1 I would study that and do something along those lines. Anything to do with a stright pipe is not going to be the sound your looking for.

No. But I had a HKS Hi Power 2.5" piping and it was quiet and deep. Since you have 3" I have no idea but it could be good idea to create a setup like that?

you won't really believe me, but i noticed your sig says 7psi....
turn up your boost, it'll actually get rid of the rasp....
i know this because i always had a boost controller and i temporarily bypassed it as a test one day and i was only hitting around 7-10 psi when i'm normally at around 15 psi and it was effing louder lol.
just give it a try.

turning up the boost may change the exhaust note but won't change it to where its deep and clean sounding. Get a good muffler and resonator. Don't cheap out and buy ebay mufflers.
i absolutely love my jic magic exhaust, fyi. Apexi, Greddy, HKS are brands that you can't go wrong with.
