93' s13.

My coupe has been having a hard time starting up after it sits in the sun for a while.
when i leave to school in the morning it starts right up, but after it sits for the day
in the parking lot. i have to wiggle the key for the ignition to actually ingage, then
the starter will just keep turning and finally after minutes the engine will turn over
and start, idk what it is. i looked at it when i got home, i tried to get it started.
its weird when i start it the rpms will spike to 2k and drop below 1k and i have to
keep pumping the gas untill it levels out. if not it will just bog out, and at this point
the car wont start after a minute. the whole time i can smell my gas, and finally when
it does start. a huge ass cloud of black ass smoke comes out of my pipe. this is just
embarrasing, does anyone know whats wrong? also lately i've been waiting for the fuel
pump to start, and usually wait till the seatbelt chime turns off to turn the key. my 240
had this problem a couple times, since ive had it. but it went away, i just recently started
putting 91 in the tank because of my new paycheck. i doubt that this is the problem,
i also am running 2 resonators now, if that does anything. my oil is fine, the car runs great
its just the start up is so shitty, im scared of driving it to school because idk if it will start.

someone please help, and if anyones had this problem. how can i fix it?

sounds like your timing may be off or somthing???? when you turn your key does the motor turn over at all??? or does your starter just click? each time you turn your key all the way it primes the full and the pump spits in a certain amount if it does not start the first time and you turn the key 6 more times you just spit 6 times the amount of fuel which is why you smell gas

when i turn the key the motor does not turn over at all, i have to hold the key and the starter will turn over many times before the engine finally starts to turn over. then thats when i have to pump the gas to get it idling, and thats when that big ass cloud of black smoke comes out.

Check your ignition coil, check the spark plug wires, check your spark plugs, check your timing with a timing light just for good measure. You should check your injector seals/o - ring s also.

I would also check your 02 sensor as well as your Idle Control Valve.

Something is causing your car to run too rich.

your injectors are not working properly because your car is too rich from the black smoke and gas smell, also check the timing, thats always the problem with alot of cars, check the ecu to see if its still good

i can already tell by the smell that the car itself runs too rich.
so idk what the problem is.
