**I'm also going to be using a Yashio Factory water pump pulley 8% Larger If that makes any difference on what fan setup i should get haha**

Option 1:
All Brand new OEM Nissan Fan,Fan clutch and fan shroud. Which i can get no problem. I have already hunted all the stuff down.

Option 2:
Mishimoto dual 10" Fans with aluminum shroud
http://image.importtuner.com/f/16847243/impp_0908_07_z+koyo_radiator_cap+mishimoto_fan_sho t.jpg
Option 3:
Flex a Lite FAL-345 setup

If i go electric either setup is going to have the:
DIF 10001 Thermostatic Single/Dual Universal Electric Fan Controller
The engine is a mildy tuned SR maybe pushing 250-300hp max. It will be daily driven as well as see a decent amount of track time including drift events and auto x as well as mountain driving.
I would like to know what you think the best setup is out of the 3 Anyone who has any of these setups please share your input. All of these setups are close enough to the same price that cost does not really have any affect here at all. Im just trying to get some feedback before i make my purchase.

the clutch fan would be the least problematic and most reliable. The last two options are similar and would be difficult to determine which is working "better"; although quality of manufacturing might be considered. I use the same fan controller on my car and would highly recommend it. IF you do go electric, use that controller, running two electric fans constantly is never a good idea. Not only does it consume massive amounts of electrical current, you'll strain the alternator, cool down an already cool engine, etc...

If you don't mind it, run the mechanical setup. I like a cleaner look, so I choice the harder path with electrical.

Clutch fan, cheap and affective, and reliable and Yashio cars are all equipped with clutch fans. My buddy has the FAL S blades with the thermo, that was some sick fans, but really eats juice. I installed it for him with a optima redtop with batter relocation... But yeah if you going with small battery don't bother with electrics...

i started out with FAL fans and found only problems with them personally (always something not working right), i didn't have the DIF fan controller though but i did end up returning to clutch fan and shroud and there was really no loss in power but definitely more consistent cooling overall

My buddies FAL came with the Controller and external Thermostat for the fans.... Not a fan of the setup....

I'm using a FAL 220 setup. I'm also using a FAL fan controller (only $10). External thermostat, works perfectly. I'm also running a Braille small battery. No issues at all.

option #1 by far is the best.

ford taurus sho two speed electric fan > everything you posted.

Recently tested by fast fords pulling 3500 thats right 3500cfm of air flow, only downside is it pulls about 50 amps and will melt cheap relays..

I use on on my vh s14 if you have ever seen my engine bay it is cramped as hell, and with a small radiator drifting no less, i had to install a switch to turn the fan off because the temp would not go over 160 degrees.

Not to mention the fan can be had for less than 50 bucks and fits sr20 radiators just fine.

Clutch Fan & Shroud, can't go wrong... I daily drive my car in plus 30 Degree C weather, water temps avg around 70*C, and when I really give it to her the max i've seen it is 73*C. I also have a NISMO t-stat installed, which probably helps a little.

You can still access the crank pully, belts etc...

Yeah Stock clutch fan and shroud seem like the best setup.

i got altima fans, batt relocation, and a miata battery.

just think, for 50 bucks, go on a half off junkyard day jank an altima fan but a switch (or get a switch from the junkyard) buy some wires (if ur really cheap get them from junkyard in some ricer mobile).

this setup pwns for cooling, esp with a switch since usually i let the fans run until im actually out of the car.

its your choice, easy choice or taking radiator out, fitting the fan, wiring, blah blah bla.
