Hung and Nurse Jackie thread

does anybody watch Hung? i just finished the first episode and it seems pretty promising, strangely enough. it's set in Detroit, which actually caught my eye more than anything. nobody makes shows that aren't based in LA anymore.
and what about Nurse Jackie? i remember a ton of hype a few months ago but i haven't heard one person i know talk about it since.

i like hung but it seems to lack entertainment and excitement at times. Sometimes its interesting but at other times it seems to drag on. Good show but i dont see if lasting too long.

I like nurse jackie.... her crass sense of humor etc but then they got into this like romance line the past 3 episodes.. I don't care about love triangles.. I care about her kicking people in the ballz... it's humorous but the last 4 or 5 episodes have been meh.. hope they get off the romance and get into the work dynamic stuff... that and she snorts oxycodone...

i kind of get that, but it's the same as Breaking Bad. that show can have an incredibly slow pace, but.... it's a drama. it does what it does. and it's been renewed for a second season, so, good times

Hung starts off REALLY slow...but it picks up really quickly around ep 5...

hung is good so far. the one thing that pisses me off is their short ass episodes. all the other HBO shows i watch are all at least an hour.

i noticed that most of the shows im watchin right now all revolved around a love triangle or something like that at the same time. Hung, entourage, royal pains just seems strange that EVERY show seems to be getting into a love connection thats very complicated

Yeah, Californication is better than either show. It is *so* good.


For normal cable, "Royal Pains" is kind of entertaining.

Nothing wrong with this season and the storyline except for that ugly twing
fron Nick and Nora showing up as E's gf.

Caught an ep of Hung and gotta say I'd like to see the rest of the eps.
Kinda reminds me of Confessions of a Call Girl (can't wait for the second season of that aswell).
