View Full Version : Some ideas/help of s13 silvia BRICK headlights

ok so i have another thread regarding how JRautoparts "left out" an important piece on my s13 silvia bricks. Its a different thread asking if they are still open.

anyway
my bricks are missing a very important piece.....the bulb metal bracket/clip/housing thing. is there anyway i could find the clip separate, or maybe fab one? or do i have to buy another headlight (broken or not) in order to acquire the clip.

here are pics to show what i am talking about better.

remember this is inside the headlight where the bulb(h4) sits inside.

without this clip there is a bare metal circle and the bulb has no way of being directed in the headlight.

i tried really hard taking those pics so they would be understandable to you guys. which was hard as my headlights are on the car. lol

dam that sucks...looks like it was ripped out too.. best bet hit up junkyard for cars with fixed headlights and look for bulb holder situations, cut then jbweld *use the stick* and mold it in there.

yea. thanks hyper i was thinking of just the same thing. hopefully someone has a broken ass headlight that i can rip apart. but hopefully someone has had this happen before(sucks to say lol)

I should have spare H4 bulb clips. Best suggestion would be to call me and come by the shop so I can mate one up for you.
