Nothing has changed theres only two ways to do a five lug
1) S14
2) Ichiba
2 1/2) re drill front spindles for 5 lug

I would not put Ichiba in 2nd place, for the most part they have seriously shitty bearings. To many of them fail.
I have Peak Performance and they are pretty good. Definitely a step above Ichiba.
To the OP
As far as doing the conversion goes? Well it all depends, do you plan on changing the LCA bushings? Do yo plan on doing your Ball Joints? Do you already have adjustable tie rod ends? If you say yes to all of that than going with a S14 setup is definitely the better way to go because its oem parts.
If you just want a fast conversion and are not overly concerned with the other stuff than conversion hubs will be the way for you. As far as what brand their are a number of brands out there some better some worse. Ichiba I would not classify as better. Unless your willing to press in your stock s13 4 lug bearings in place of the ones that come in the Ichiba which have a known high failure rate.

Assuming you bought your parts brand new:
1)s14------>expensive
2)attain---->sorta expensive
3)ichiba---->not so expensive
I'll warn you. Price is quality in this case.
Now search and /thread.

lol, if your in luck, go to the junkyard and find a s13 with 5 lug already done and grab it or get a s14 set up, it bolts right on.

How the hell do you swap bearings for the front?!?! I've always thought its a sealed unit and you cant swap just the bearings.

This is a topic that has been discussed time and time and time and time again.
It can be searched on Zilvia, Google, and I think it might even be in the Bible or Torah or one of those books, I forget which chapter. I think it might have been Exodus, because Moses was purported to have an LS2-powered coupe with Silk Road coils, Z32 brakes and 5-lug all around.
Perhaps you should Google that too.
