Hey, I've been trying to figure this out for quite a while now... what are these extra rear seatbelt looking things that are hanging from the roof of my hatch?? They don't plug in anywhere, they just kinda dangle and get in the way. The old owner had the ends stuffed under the rear seat.

I think I know what you are talking about, I think I got them to somehow go over the lap belt when it clicked into the other side and it makes a sholder belt. But I could be wrong.

If this doesnt make any sense to you dont worry, it only makes a little sense to me.

if you mean the belt that's attached to the c-pillar that has a metal end that tapers off a little and has a small peg on it, that would be the shoulder belt.

it's supposed to connect to the lap belts in a tab a slot b type o'deal (that's why the lap belts have that extra hole in them).

they're pretty much useless. i took them off two days after i got my car.

Mmm, must be the shoulder belt. I kinda thought that's what it was, but I couldn't figure out how to hook them up.

buckle the lap belt, then slide the peg on the shoulder belt into the hole on the buckle of the lap belt. took me awhile to figure that out.

but honestly, you're better off just removing the shoulder belt (just one bolt), because they tend to come off, and they aren't exactly the most secure things in the world to begin with. That, and the fact they look horribly out of place.

hehehe, yeah, they don't look very secure :)
