These are WIDE angle mirrors, which virtually eliminates 98% of all blindspots. Also made out of glass.

Don't see how they would be rhd or lhd specific? Both mirrors are the same size and made out of the same glass.

rhd or lhd specific?

it is the mirror base, not the glass that sets up the angle to make them RHD or LHD specific.

I am currently using USDM base and housings with JDM power folders and glass, angle is perfect.

the left is magnified instead of the right

thats actually not true, in america we have different glass on opposite sides in order to accomodate looking across the car for the right mirror.

when I did my power folding mirrors I switched everything, the angle may be perfect because of the base but the actual reflection will look really weird. you need to switch the glass too.

notice that the passenger side mirror in usdm cars reads "objects in mirror are closer than they appear".
