OREM, Utah, Aug. 18 (UPI) -- Police in Utah said a man arrested for attacking his nephew and his wife was upset by a game of UNO.

Orem police said the 58-year-old man was in his home drinking and playing the card game with his 47-year-old nephew and the nephew's 64-year-old wife at about 10:30 p.m. Saturday when he allegedly became agitated and smacked the woman on the back of her head, The Salt Lake Tribune reported Tuesday.

Lt. Gary Downey said the nephew and his wife gathered their belongings to leave, but the man grabbed his nephew's arm and punched him. He said the pair fought until the man threatened the couple with a knife and ordered them to leave.

The suspect was arrested on suspicion of aggravated assault and three outstanding warrants for aggravated assault, simple assault and driving under the influence.

hmmm. i woulda expected him to be playing monopoly.

now that game makes me want to punch people....

any game that forces you to play for more that an hour and a half would very much so aggravate anyone

i find it funny how the man punches the nephew for leaving, then they fight, he draws a knife on them and asks them to leave.. wtf..

LOL!! We play this at lunch sometimes and I do sometimes feel like slapping a hoe... I got cheated out of a win the other day and I refuse to play again. HAHA!!

I have UNO for xbox live, and I threw my controller out of frustration. Seems like everyone but me gets all those goddamn wild draw 4 bullshit cards. hahaha.

my wife keeps asking to play monopoly with me. i tell her that i refuse to play because we'll end up having a divorce.


hmmmmmmm... now that i think about it. could be worth while attempt at being single. lets see how long she can live on baltic avenue while i buy up all of park place
