For sale:
J30 VLSD $150 OBO
Description: This particular VLSD came off of a 1996 J30 Touring. Locks up great! It has 6 hole/bolt output shafts for direct bolt on! It also comes with the oem bushings that makes the OEM swap complete. You may use your S13/s14 diff cover, or I can provide them at $20 extra.
You can spend up to $100 to weld a diff and it may not be safe for the streets. OEM =Best. VLSD = for daily and aspirated driving around town.
These are $65-90 dollars at the junk yard and you got to pull them knowing that you could be crushed under those junk yard cars and in the hot sun~:ddog:

ya 100 seems a decent price.
its not super hard to remove a diff and ive never heard of a car falling on anyone at the junkyard, The workers maintain the area and ensure it won't happen so the owner doesnt get sued.

damn you can get that out the junkyard for 50 maybe even less.... just saying lol 150 too high drop it down to like 80 or something lates
You're an idiot and here is why:
1. You would have to find a J30 1995 and up that has the 6 bolt output shaft. Most commonly you only find 5 bolt output shafts and if you find one with 6 bolts, it would probably be gone already.
2. You can spend 1-2-3 times going to junkyards at $2 dollars an entry and $5 bucks of gas each time and may not find one.
3. It would take you some time to take out (6) 12mm nuts and bolts from each output shaft, (4) 14mm nuts/bolts from the drive shaft. 2 17mm from the rear cover, and like 2 (17 or 19mm) from the bottom, and then cradle the pumpin on your chest and lug it to the counter.
4. It costs up to $80 bucks depending on where you go, Ecology, Aalden bros, Pickapart (octopus) . It costs about $55 ish Plus a core charge, plus tax and even up to $90 bucks.
SO STFU AND DON'T TELL ME WHAT TO SELL IT FOR. Noob. Get yourself and your wack s14 snow plow off my FS thread SON!
and it's $150 O.B.O douche. :wackit:

You can also get a 1988 300zx CLSD out of a junk yard for about 150$.
You can go to the z forum and sell if for 700. the biggest problem is trying to keep track of when the new cars come in if they do.

Can Admin or Mod please kick this kid off my FS thread....
If you can get it for $10 bucks then go get one. STFU. I don't give a damn if you can get one for free. You're opinion isn't valued here.
NO shit I got it out of the junk yard and trying to make a profit. Why the hell would I go to the junkyard and get items and sell them for 1/2 the price? Are you dumb or what?
Long Beach, the junkyards that are close to you is Wilmington and Buena Park one, and you're telling me you can get one for $40 bucks? And it takes you 2 minutes to remove it huh?
Idiot. Again, that's why you're an idiot.
THINK ABOUT THIS DUMBASS, A TIMING BELT FOR MOST CARS ARE LIKE $50-70 BUCKS, THE LABOR COSTS LIKE $300-400 BUCKS ! idiot. My time is worth more than the part otherwise lazy people would love to flock to the junk yards.
