ok so i have been parting out my 1990 300zxtt but what im wondering is back in the day when i was super into z cars, i went to a Z convention and Mr. K(Yutaka Katayama) the original designer for the 300zx was there, i took a piece of that dash off and had him autograph it, it has been since clearcoated, now what im wondering what do you think something like that could be worth?

not much
mostly because pretty much every z guy had mr K sign something
and um...honestly, he may be a legend, but his autograph isnt worth shit.
being blunt.

it may be cool to someone who is a Z lover like your self (including me) but i dont think it would be "worth" much.....

I would consider it worth more than scrapping, but not enough to retire on. :D

Get your facts straight MR. K was the one responsible for the 240z. He was not the original designer of the 300zx. As far as his Autograph goes I have it on my convention badge from the 2002 240sx national convention.
It has meaning to me because I drove a Datsun 510 in high school and wound up owning 10 240z's and that was because of the company this man help build here in the U.S. and the racing heritage.
I would not consider it monetarily valuable though its purely sentimental.

im not trying to get rich off this im just wondering if i post it for like $20 would someone possibly pick it up or is it not worth the effort to remove it again. like i said maybe just enough to cover the shipping and maybe lunch lol just thought it might be cool to a Z owner, but if i wont get even enough to cover shipping to someone i wont waste my time taking it off, ill let it get crushed with the rest of the car...

Contact Bardebe he might be down for it. You might get someone to give $20 for it though the fact is if it meant something to you at the time then you should take it off anyways.
I am not about to throw away my convention badge. Its something I will keep for years because Mr K signed it.

i had mr k sign my toolbox, though the signature eventually disappeared and i threw it away............... :(
to be honest, i think there is a website............... called................. thats it, eBay - New & used electronics, cars, apparel, collectibles, sporting goods & more at low prices (http://www.ebay.com) where people, yes people........... bid on things that are rare or collectible and establish values for these rare collectibles.
