Oil Pressure is low?

My oil pressure is low, what do I do to fix it?

Drop the oil pan first, bang out the pan to make sure it wasnt sitting on the sump. If that doesnt help, time for a new pump.

I just had the same prob check the oil pan if not time to replace the oil pump. Buy it new trust me.

The problem could also be the oil pressure reguator. I do not know if you have an SR or KA but the latter can hang up with high mileage causing little to no oil pressure. You will have to replace the regulator and pump cover if this is the culprit...I would replance both them regardless while rebuilding the oil pump.
