rx7 diffuser on a s14????

so because their is a lack of rear diffuser for the 240sx, i was wondering if anyone has tried to use a rx7 rear diffuser and make it work on a s14?

the fd rx7 width is 68.9 and the s14 is 67.9 so the diffuser may stick out .5" on both sides which i dont see as being to bad.

i was jus wondering if anyone has a pic of the fitment of the underside of the diffuser against the s-chassis?

If the rx7 is wider then a s14 i think it would be to short not to long. And they make these for s chassis i just dont know who makes them.

yea the raceonusa is overprice imo and looks and fit like crap. if im going to pay $400 for a diffuser and make it work then i rather try my luck with a nice fd3s diffuser.

the fd is 68.9 inch in width
the s14 is 68 inch in width according to wiki. so i think it should be pretty close.

top garage is super hard to get a hold of i rember when the person was selling that to full lock, i think theirs a total of 3 top garage bumpers in the us lol

when i get my s13 back together im going to try and make a fiberglass one. make up a frame out of wood and hand lay it. it wouldent be as pretty or light as the cf ones but it might work.

i was thinking about trying the same thing with my s14. my boy has a JZA80 one that looks really good i might do a test fit and post some pics. i think the fd3s would fit way better tho...

There's only ONE. The rear diffuser was only test fit on other cars for photos only before the rear bumper w/ diffuser was sold to full lock.

The rear bumper plus diff was 1500 for the set. about 1000 for the diffuser alone.

There is a guy running around west Seattle that has a an RE-Amemiya FD diffuser fitted on. He said very little trimming was need to make fit.

Find a replica and give a shot.
