saw it after District 9. RT gives it a really bad review, and, yeah, it wasn't the best. but it was pretty good throwaway comedy. piven's a swell guy.

Granted I haven't seen it yet but I have a feeling if you haven't sold cars or worked in sales you probably won't "get" this movie. From what I gather about the previews most of the humor and jokes seem to be about sales, shitty customers, and the shenanigans that happen on the lot.

i'm pretty sure anybody can relate to what you just said. that's like saying you won't "get" Waiting unless you've been a server.
or you won't "get" Top Gun unless you've showered with a large group of burly men.

but yeah, strangely they barely focused on actually making sales, which kind of disappointed me.

i mean.... i saw it for free. and it was funny, but.. i dunno. personally i'd just go see it because i prefer seeing comedies in theaters.
if you're going to walk into it after paying to see another movie. then definitely.
even better, if you're going to walk into it after seeing another movie after asking to use the bathroom that's behind the ticket-taker guy.

thought about walking into this one, but timing was off, small town cinema had this on 1 screen. Fuck this movie had me rolling! Big Ups! I'm glad it was short, any longer and it would've been ruined. worth the $6.50 I spent.
