This is it everyone, by far one of the coolest things ever implemented here at Zilvia.net! (at least I think so) :p

The not finalized but fully functional Reviews section!!!

Here are a few guidelines and rules to follow to keep the reviews section clean and informative.

All new products submitted have to be approved by me, so please follow these guides to help me out.

1. When you post new products just enter the Manufacturer and then the Model below that. Example, Manufacturer: Cusco Product Model: Tension Rods. Please use a clean looking picture of the product when uploading. Also, to keep the review section functional, please put in the full Manufacturer and Model in the Keywords field so people can find the products using the search feature. Please leave the Description empty.

2. If you posting something you’re selling, don’t glamorize it in the Description when posting the product. Glamorize it in your review.

3. Be Professional when posting new products. Capitalize your first letter in each subject line. Don’t capitalize EVERYTHING.

4. Remember, your not reviewing anything until your post the product. You will be allowed to review something once the product has been posted. I got mixed up by this, so I just wanted to make sure you didn’t go through the same headache.

Anyways! Enough of that, here is how to get to it. Either go to the Reviews link on the website or click the link below! Lets make this a excellent resource for all us Nissan enthusiasts!

PS: I know im not perfect, so if I left out anything as far as product types please post them here and I can add them to the list. (I know I have to do Audio Section)

PPS: If someone would like to take the time to create a short description for each category please feel free to as I don’t have the time right now.

THANKS!!!!!

Now you should see it.

If you had read my post then would know that I have to review everything before it gets posted. :p

To help users find your product, please enter a few (up to 10) descriptive keywords (separated by spaces): Cusco Tension Rod Bar

Bravo! Just what 240SX enthusiasts need for their aftermarket interests. It's about time i found a 240SX-specific product reviews section. I've been bugging FreshAlloy for a while to do something like this and they have not bothered to give me a response.

You might want to make Struts/Shocks and Springs under one category, because they go hand in hand. Cant really evaluate them individually since they depend on each other for the final outcome and impression on the consumer.

For example, say i want to look for lowering springs. Would a review by a guy who used Eibach Sportlines with his KYB AGX's be specific and useful enough for a Tokico shocks person like me? In this department, review should be like "Tokico Illuminas w/ S-Tech springs."

Also, in each review, the car model should be specified as S13 or S14. Or perhaps the more specific, the better (i.e. 1993 coupe vs 1989 fastback). People's questions are better answered when seeing more specifics. Message icons (CA, KA, RB, SR, S13, S14, S15) as used in the Zilvia forums would be most helpful.

Those are some good ideas. I will post the idea about the Icons on the Hacks page and maybe someone will make the hack for it.

As for the Spring/Shocks. That makes sense, I will combine them.

Perhaps a cleaning products review as well? (i.e. clay bar, waxes, polishes, devices) I know it's not 240SX-specific, but it would be helpful on a car forum such as this.

How about a section that has a place to put reviews of all the different companies that sell products/services for our cars? That way if anyone has a compliment/complaint they can post it there!
