Just wondering if the ebay kouki head lights for $240 a pair is worth considering. Have anyone installed them before?

If you are doing this to "upgrade" your stock kouki headlights...DONT. Why fuck up a good thing? Glass headlights for plastic headlights, YOUR DOING IT WRONG!!!

If you dont have any, then I'd suggest saving your money and buying the real thing.

I've seen them go for about $300-400 here on zilvia. Just save some more and keep a look out for a good deal.

They will end up cracking or the seal will go bad and you will eventually have fogged up lights whenever it rains.

No, i didn't buy ebay lights. Just seen enough ricers putting them on there car and laugh every time i see fogged lights on them.

I'm all for cheaper alternitves in the auto industry, as long as they do what they are intended to do. But ebay lights are straight crap.

Go ahead. Rock em for all i care, its your car.

Ill be the one laughing at you when i drive past you.

If you're trying to stay away from projectors, the vertex headlights are a much better alternative. I've never tried them, but i'm sure their quality is better than ebay.

Just noticed the sarcasm. lol. But i'll keep it there to show op an alternative.

Jspec projector is larger and light direction is set up for Japans left side driving roads

And you can aim the bulbs independently of each other, instead of both as one unit.

same garbage, inferior quality.

whats the difference between the USDM and JDM? just the lamp size?

us uses 9005 high beam bulb
japan uses bullshit h3 bulb

that alone makes the us-spec headlights superior in EVERY way

Jspec projector is larger and light direction is set up for Japans left side driving roads

correct, but regardless of projector differences the us-spec lights are still superior

o no im doing a kouki conversion. The ebay ones can lower my budget a lot

if a few hundred make that much of a difference, you may want to leave your car stock and not play. modifying cars with the big boys requires something called money, lots of it.

lol 2 fucking retards in this thread whining about how he should "STICK WITH OEM, RETAIN QUALITY~!!!!!" ... run those dumbass led kouki style rear taillights. news flash...those things are ugly as shit

OptionZero
08-16-2009, 12:54 PM
oem tails are plastic
led tails are plastic

the only differences is aesthetics, which are subjective

you sacrifice more going from oem headlights to the ebay plastic reflectors

and one could easily say those are ugly as well
i think they make the front look like a 94-97 accord
