ok so i put my gauge cluster back in after an engine swap (KAE-KADE)

my question is that a hole was drilled in the back of the cluster in order to put in some stupid after market glow gauges. however the (dont know what to call them) the metal leads(looks like metal conduit channels on the back of the cluster the green part) was drilled into as well. so my question is could this be causing the speedo to not work. i am waiting to get another gauge cluster to check. then if that doesnt work ill replace the speed sensor. wires are all good. so im stumped without swaping parts

If you swap a KA24E to KA24DE you will need a DE Cluster...

If your PCB has been drilled into, then yea that's probably the issue. I would never put a hole in a pcb unless you know exactly what your doing.

i assume the drill slipped and cut it. the whole goal was to get only the plastic. ill jsut get a new one. never should have even have tried to get this one to work
