im about to put z32 brake in my s14, so far i got the calipers and the pads..and now im still looking for rotors, they have off brand which is around $100 a pair or $180 for brembo brand. is there any big different between brembo and those no name brand rotors.im using my s14 most of time for daily driving.and any recommendation for pick a conversion lines? thanks

You Got One company (brembo) That Test there products Uses them on there Own car and Backs there product up that it will perform at its best and then you got the other that are just knockoffs that just copy to make money... hmm wich one would you choose?

no difference really on brand for blanks. you can say brembo blanks probably equal to kragen/autozone blanks.

you might consider slotted rotors for a bit better cooling.

cross drilled rotors aren't that much of an improvement for cooling with the pads available on the market today, and if anything, the cross drill holes would more likely contribute to your rotors cracking and rust inside the holes.

Powerslot rotors are good too. I recommend ProjectNissan conversion lines.

actually for blanks, it's all the same shit.

$100 bucks a pair? fuck that.

just get raybestos blanks off rockauto.com, $55 a pair. people run them in hpde with like, carbotech high heat pads.

if you're REALLY anal about it, get brembo blanks. they run like $100 a pair. i think tirerack sells them.

you're not driving in f1, you're driving on the street

see i use my s14 for daily driving not for hardcore stuff like f1,and i prefer drilled or slotted for better looking.and im tight on budget now that is why i made this thread.if i have $$$ laying around im sure i will get the best for my ride no doubt

^^

what he said

i prefer drilled or slotted for better looking.

forgo on the drilled. doesn't really look that great, a rotor with pokka dots on it? if you must have that look, get dimpled, not slotted for reason i mentioned above.

SPL also makes some nice conversion lines that are inexpensive.

NAPA blanks are like $25 each. A blank rotor is a blank rotor. As long as it's true it makes no difference who's name is on it. We've discussed this dozens of times.

I recommend these but they may be over budget. They are what I went with and I am very pleased.
