Bakersfield Hook up thread

Well not just Bakersfield... lol close surrounding areas. Im starting this so that if there are parts near by we can wheel and deal close instead of going to Fresno or LA for parts or service or having to send out packages, just to find out a week later some one had one down the street.

So if you have any hook ups (tuning, body work, electrical, machining, parts for sell/trade, or if you see deals on other sites) Post em here. I will also enable us to critique different shops services in the area so we know whow hot and whos not :)

Ill start it with a couple of parts and by letting you know Im pretty well rounded and if any one needs help LMK I can usually figure a mechanical or electrical problem out for beer and food if I can fix it.

G35 drift spares, 18x8 5x114.3 no tires 40$

SR20 Aluminum Radiator used for 1k mi with 14" electric fan 130$

cuz all the s13 drivers around here are all ricers with crappy fitment body kits and horrible camber issues and insanely loud exhausts.... there are a few real enthusiasts though.. but they have other cars to drive so they dont drive the s13 around here... cops are very car racist lol... good luck finding people to meet up with

haha actually i do. i been there a couple times. once when i had my 3000gt i took it there for a headgasket repair and now that i have my 240 i plan on going for the cut out system daniel has over there. and your right, they are pros when it comes to nissan.

right now i have a s13 i just bought it a couple months back. it has a kokimoto exhaust system on it but i,m worried about the problems it can bring here in bako so i plan on whiching it out with the stock tip and then having the cut-out on for the airflow. im also painting my car 2. getting gunmetal done.

I've been out to In & Out a couple of times. It's funny just to watch all the stupid honda's etc. driving in circles. I've only seen a couple of s13's the times I've been out there, but I always have to leave early because of working at 11 pm.

Yea Daniel is a good friend. I started the meets with them. most didnt take to it too much cause its mostly just street racing around here but I plan to get it going once my s14 is done.

ehh idk .. what kind of wide body kit you going ? i seen some goods and some bads.

you can go gangsta either way. Its all about what you like. a nice lip, type x side skirts and rear valance can look good but you got to drop your ride min - rim lip within 1/2" from fenders, rolled fenders, and camber. (basics)

Wide body you can still got pretty low but you need pretty expensive wheels, learn to fit them right, when driving you need to learn how to hit the angles right when driving over bumps, entrances, becareful of curbage, people kicking your skirts while getting in, and if you are drifting make sure to use zip ties so its easier to put ur parts back to gether...OH and haters but thats either way...

those are some basics, Im sure not all are there but are you building a drift car? just something to show off? every day?

I mean you put money into you s chasis and in one wrong move your paint,bodykit,rims are ruin but I guess I have to try it and hit side ways lol but I'm building something really clean hella smooth and I want 400 horsepower out of an SR. But either way its going to be sick

I have an sr sittin here built for 500hp CP pistons eagle H beam rods ARP studs on rods and head, greddy valve springs. top feed 740's My cams were shot after the oil squirting lines clogged had it for 1k mi :( but top is still good needs cams retainers lifters. I have every bolt bagged and labled bottom end is together. crank was balanced. pushin around 350 with an s15 sr, so throw a disco potato on it and push over 400 :) I dont have the doe to put it back together.

I have MANY OEM Parts available Interior, lights, complete A/C systems, MISC trim parts, many KA eng parts, g20 infinity wheels (14" with NEW tires, they are polished aluminum 4x114.3 100$ If you need anything let me know.. s14 seats 225$ firm for both.

I also have a couple of aftermarket parts. Solid motor mounts for KA/SR 50$. front under fender Braces 70$ (SOLID) BN Sports rear agresssive bumper some lil scrapes no major cracks clean 100$ oh and makes it easier to slide :). I will be adding more tomorrow.
