Let the car warm up. Unplug the TPS. Set to 15* BTDC. I don't remember which mark it is.
It's been a year or so since I've done it, so instead of my usual 110% certainty on anything I post, I'm at about 90% on this one

ive read couple of info i search through the web.
most people mention is the 2nd mark from the right close to the exhaust?
steve shadows mentioned. just wanted to make sure.

Make sure you find the black diagnositc loop wire on the back of yoru coil pack harness towards the firewall. HOok up your timing light to this then check your crank pulley while the car is idleing at 800-900 RPMS after warmed up.
Unplug your TPS Sensor, then check the CAS timing with the light, then set, then plug TPS back in.
Your TIming needs to be 15 BDTC or 2nd mark from the exhaust side if you are standing in front of your engine bay.

I had a bit of trouble using that stupid loop on the coilpack harness even with flipping the clamp around. I ended up using an old KA spark plug wire do check the timing.
Here's a post from "TS4I", and this is exactly what I did so set my timing.
"Warm car up to normal operating temp.
Shut car off and unclip TPS sensor. Also make sure no accessories are on as they will affect the timing.
Restart car, it might want to die so give it gas to keep it running.
It should idle around 750 +/- 50 rpm's, if not you may have to adjust the idle set screw manually
Use a timing light and set it to 15 btdc. (second mark from the right)
Once set race engine to 3000 rpm's three times to set new settings.
Shut car off and hook TPS back up.
To hook the timing light up you'll need to make an adaptor to go from the Coil pack to the spark plug. Get a spark plug wire and cut it in half. Use the end meant for a spark plug to hook to the spark plug. then strip the other end so you expose the bare wire and place it inside the coil pack. Make sure and use elctrical tape to make sure the wire stays inside the coil pack and does't arc. Then you can clip the timing light to that spark plug wire.
Good luck, its not hard just take your time and make sure its getting a correct ready before you adjust anything."
