Just had a GT35r and AEM installed and tuned.

its jacked up... the fuel gauge is jacked, temp is jacked, i need a new sender i think it just reads 1/4 full

yeah its actually still there. im overseas right now so Gray is gonna hold it for me.

Wow, that cluster is kinda hot. From a R33 GT-R right? I saw a R33 GT-R with that cluster on Japan Partner.

How is the AEM unit working out w/ the 2J? I was torn on whether to go Power FC or AEM EMS with my 1J, but I may end up going with the AEM. Any more details on your setup?

i don't really have any experience with the powerfc unit but the AEM unit is really good. it is night and day how the car performed without the unit to when it was installed and tuned. right now power is staged... almost like a traction control system so that I dont burn up my tires. right now the rev limit is set kinda low but I gonna get them to raise it a little. when its tuned again. in need a hks dli soon and im gonna address the intake manifold as well.

AEM EMS is where it's at when it comes to the JZ stuff. or go with the PROEFI the guys at Sound Performance can set you up with that.

Yeah Nick from like a year and some change ago. he was selling it for a good price and i had to jump on it.

Just ordered my origin wide body 50mm wide fenders. I had Volk TE-37 Mag blue 18x9.5 18x10.5 and im trading for some Gramlight 57s pro RMC /titan lip 17x9 , 18x10 with a sick offset.

i was talking with a friend about 57s pro's vs te-37s .. man it was close. "I" love the look of the 57s pro's in titanium finsh but i never seen them rolling. And we all know about te-37's but some think they are played out

yeah it feels pretty good. it weird tho, i driven in the passenger seat of a 600hp 300zx and that sh*t would peg me to the seat. my car is around 50hp less but WAY lighter so i would figure id get that feeling driving but it doesnt feel that way at all. its good but not OH SNAP good.

Was the Z twin turbo or big single configuration? That could make a big difference. I am going upgraded twins on a 1JZ when I get outta the sandbox. I'm looking for that quick hit / transient power. Not too worried about top end power though.

I wanna go with a diff cluster. getting it to work with the 2jz is a hard as hell. and im not an electrician. Yeah if i had cash i would get a twin setup but i think the gt35r does what i need it to. it feels really good once power come on.

I was looking to TS 35R, but one of my friends is gonna let me buy his 1JZ top end / turbo setup. He is calling it quits on the Supra and going for an IS or GS w/ 2JZ. He is going to go w/ a 4088. I think that is where you may wanna go.

yeah i havent really driven the car to much... maybe im jumping the gun a bit. once i get my new intake manifold, hks dli and few other tid bits ill do a shakedown and really look at what i need to address to get the car where i want.

i just heard so much about the gt35r and it quick spooling. but mostly evo guys

Yeah I was looking at that on NICO forums too. He has does a really sick set up. I would like something very similar. Im looking at how much a set up like that would cost.

I was also looking to take supra turbo gauges and make a cluster from it. i have a friend with TRD gauges that he could sell me. So essentially id do a cluster like Mr. Broadfields using supra gauges. has anyone done such a thing? I think i just need the wires from the cluster.

What PSI was that at? E85, race or pump gas? I am trying to put a 240JZ project myself too here in Colorado. I wanna do e85 and a 35 or 37R...Nice setup bro!

I believe this last pull was at 20 or 25psi on pump gas. but ill be upgrading the injectors and moving to a dual walbro system with E85 maybe in the summer or fall.
