want s13 pick up truck

Hey guys.. I've always wanted an s13 converted into a pick up truck and I'm finally ready to take on this project.
I've never owned any 240 before so I'm extra noobiriffic lol
I'd appreciate any advice as to which model is best to start out with (coupe, hatch, trim, etc..?)
And the best place to go for the conversion work on the west coast.. preferably near San Francisco?

must be a hatch.... duh. remove the hatch add a support bar to each C-pillar. fab a wall of sheet metal and connect the lower section to the floor, then, to the support bar. lexan window in a fabbed frame connects to the roof and the support bar. a piece is added to the connnecting spots and secures them together. you might want to see some detailed pictures of the S13-truck because it takes work to set it off .

you could use a coupe but the work is much greater

yea, your gonna need a hatch, and a lot of work is to be done. i just dont see why you want to do it tho, imo, it looks retarded. and even if your reason is just so that you can say that you built one, its still lame. but whatever, if you must hack up a perfectly good 240, go ahead.just be prepared for a lot of work ahead of you.

start with a crappy salvage title chassis.. preferably one thats already really messed up...

s13 trucks are dumbbbbbbbb... only retarded 240 owners would decide that cutting up 30%+ of the unibody to have a pointlessly nonfunctional "truck"

you dont see mustang/civic/camaro/bmw/VW/ any other car scene chopping up chassis to make stupid ghetto cars that are irrevocably messed up

Personally, I hate those truck conversions too, but if someone's going to put their time and effort into something, i'll respect it for being done right. then again, that's assuming it was done right haha
