O.K I will try to keep this short.
I've been looking at a few of the willem rom burners.
One that I have been looking at is the GQ-4X programmer. I noticed that it is a 40 pin socket. It says its compatible with chip 27c1024 (which is the chip set that JWT uses), no where in the advertisement does it indicate that it will burn 27sf512, or flash rom 29F010.
Does any one have experience with this eprom burner?
I have heard that it's USB, may have intermittent/interference issues, and possibly software issues with some versions of XP, and VISTA?
Or I would think it is better to cheap out and just get the willem burner for 27sf512 comptible chips.
I've read that the JWT daughter boards are custom.
Or should I just get the 28pin dual chip daughter board and use 27sf512 chips?
