Can someone please tell me how to line up the timing marks for TDC on the SR cam gears and crank cog? I knocked everything out of time when I changed the chain tensioner.

What do you mean you don't know how to step up your timing mark, after you have all that mod on your rid. I'm not sure what TDC mean, but to set your timing
Steps
1. You need a timing gun
2. Hook it up to your battery, and hook the sensor to the black signal wire in the back
3. Take you TBC valve plug off (I believe thats what its called correct me if im wrong)
4. Set it to the left second mark
5. Plug the plug back in
6. Check to see if the Mark is on the 2nd mark from the right
7. Drive it around and check it again

When I received my swap, the CAS was shipped apart from the engine. I had to set the timing as you explained to install the CAS correctly, so, yes, I do know how to do that.

As the engine sits, the timing chain is off, and the crank, and both cams are out of time. I need to set everything to Top Dead Center, and re-install the chain. Otherwise, I'll blow up my engine.

Can anyone help me out and fill me in on how to do this? I have only done it on Hondas.

Dude, your from Pittsburg, that awsome. Hopefully I'll remember what it looks like when I get back this summer. Anyway as to your question,
the chain has 3 links that are different color than the rest, some are all silver some, Like mine, are 2 black for the cams and a silver one for the crank. If you noticed your Cams have a indentation on them, thats what you line your chain marks up to. I know I'm being a little emenentary here but just bare with me. As for the CAS, well you already know how to do that but just repeat it the same as before. That should do it. The only thing I have problems with is that damn CAS, I can never seem to get it quite rite its always either a tooth too far advanced or retard. Oh well, Good luck

Jim,
That's a big help so far. Can you tell me where these timing marks are located? Are the ones for the cams on the cam itself, or on the gear? Also, Which link lines up with the crank cog, and where is that mark located?

The CAS won't be a problem.

Thanks.

The cam sprokets and the crank gear are where you'll find the punch marks for the timing. The chain is quite obvious, 2 close together, I beleive they are 11 outside links apart but don't remember off hand, and then the crank mark completly apart from the others. no prob on the help.

Cool.

I'll check it out this weekend and let you know if I have any problems.

Nice picture, James. Who are those little guys standing on the car?
