hello guys i am posting my car fs/trade and as far as the trade goes id prefer nothing worth more than 6.5k and id really like a s13 hatch or sil80 :) must be turbo or evo 8 or 9..

up for sale is my Z i have owned since new and <3ed it! meticulously maintained, fresh fluids everywhere but power steering at the moment.
*2005 enthusiast model 6mt 17-18K miles on chassis
*BRAND NEW 0 mile engine from nissan just put in by local performance shop (pm / email for details)
*new transmission part number 009 most up to date trans available less then 2k miles with warranty paperwork to prove it!!
*when trans was replaced a JWT/Fidanza clutch and flywheel were installed so same milage
*hotchkis springs
*aerosync front bumper
*rota p45R's
*koyo rad
*headlight housing done by mr zipps
*cf b pillar and mirror covers (actual mirror housings are color matched)
*interior 9/10 a few scratches on some plastic panels / peeling on steering wheel <-- easy fix but ugly at the moment i will most likely fix b4 selling
*exterior 9/10 no dings or scratches some chipping in front bumper
*custom color super clean must see in person!!!
18.5k with wheels
17.5k on stock wheels

Prices are pretty firm very small amount of wiggle room. ive half-assed tried to sell the car in the past this is my final attempt (i hope) i will be listing the car on autotrader as well, never did that in the past lol... if i cant sell it ill turbo it. this car will not be sold now for 15k... please only post here if you are interested in purchasing the car. contact me @ [email protected] or pm but email is best.

the better question us why was the engine and transmission replaced?!?

I'm sure it has something to do with the fact that a performance shop did the install on it..

He has a later model Z. His engine and tranny could have been replaced for a couple of reasons. If he was modding it, then the engine could have blown due to an oil problem. BUt who knows, just got to c what dude says

It's the OP's business, actually, what was done prior to the car. As long as the potential buyer or actual buyer asks these questions. The truth, as is so often the case, lies somewhere in between everything presented and stated. My 2 yen:

The car was a big project in earlier life (prior to this thread). From what I can tell -- custom color, custom stereo, aftermarket radiator, new motor, new trans, all installed by a performance shop (not dealer) = this was someone's high dollar project and/or flagship car/build/shop repped car that was at some point force induction. The motor was prolly built, and either blew up or was sold prior to this thread. Either way, it doesn't mean much to the overall value and/or does it add or subtract any weight (value) to the sale at hand. As long as the parts that are on it during the sale are consistent with fair market value, and the car is legit w/ the paperwork, title, etc, then everthing's cool and the gang. It's pretty rad to start with a car that already has some custom, high end shit done to it cause it ends up putting $ (and hence equity) into the deal -- it's basically pennies on the dollar to the seller tho, and only sweetens the deal for the buyer..

My thoughts..
