-this is the updated thred with pics, it would not let me add pics to the old one for some reason

1997 Nissan 240sx. This is the "Kouki" model. I will start with the basics then move on. It has 140XXX miles, Clean title, very clean straight body and mint interior. There are many other little things that I cannot think of at this time as well. Here is the deal, I am asking $8300 cash OBO, however if you have a trade to offer me+ cash I would be willing to consider it. I am going to be having a baby in a few months, and my ONLY reason of selling this car is to get out the the car payments. No civics, integras, ect. Please do not email me asking for pics if you are not truly interested, however I can take some close up's of engine or what ever just ask! Not one part that I have listed below has over 1700 miles on it, it was ALL installed when engine was rebuilt, including even tires! Car was built for me and was done flawlessly. Im sad to see it go but family is always first. Thanks for looking, Brian

Engine
- Freshly rebuilt KA24de. Just broken in, it now has 1,700 miles on it. All Machine work was done by a very well known local machinist.
-Cylinder head was: stripped, cleaned, resurfaced, 5 angle valve job, OEM Nissan valve guides, OEM Nissan valve seals.
-Engine block was: stripped, hot tanked, deck surfaced, cylinders were power cross honed, Outside of block was painted with 1200 degree engine paint 3 step process, primer, paint, clear looks very nice not that you can really see it anyway though, I'm just picky.
-Crankshaft was: cleaned, oil passages were cleaned out, micropolished
TOTAL- $350 in machining

Engine was assembled by me, however I am a very skilled and experienced mechanic especially in Nissans. All oil clearances were mic'd I even have the notes where I wrote them down if you would like to see them.
-ACL engine bearings-$100
-OEM Nissan piston rings-$100
-Full brand new OEM Nissan timing kit - $650
-Full OEM Nissan engine gasket, this means every gasket on the entire engine-$200
-New OEM Nissan head bolts-$75
-OEM Nissan Oil pump-$250
-Water pump-$60
-OEM Nissan thermostat-$33
-248 duration exhaust cam with stock intake cam, both were micropolished( i will include stock as well)
-NGK spark plugs and wires-$90
-OEM Nissan distributor cap and rotor-$30
-OEM Nissan 300zx fuel filter-$20
-Nissan Quest 110 amp alternator, modified to fit more power output! Installed same time as engine rebuild-$180
- HKS dragger full cat back exhaust-$550
-Brand new starter with 6 year warranty installed 7-29-09- $70
-Brand new battery with 100 month warranty installed 7-29-09- $175
TOTAL- $2,583 in parts alone!

The entire engine rebuild cost me about $3,000 in parts and machining alone! That's with me doing all the assembly myself so no cost added there. Its a flawless engine now runs strong and perfect. It was of course broken in with regular oil as your supposed to use, since then I have used Moble 1 full synthetic engine oil and Redline MT90 tranny and diff gear oil.

Suspension and Brakes:
-KYB AGX adjustable front shocks, Tokiko blue rear, they have less then 100 miles on them, were just installed this week-$450
-RSR lowering springs-$200
-Cusco camber plates, this above set up is very close to a coilover feel, however it is still comfortable to drive on the street, then when you get to the track you can adjust the dampers to make the shocks very stiff-$250
-Front 300ZX brake conversion (I kept rear stock because I do not like rear drum E-brakes) calipers were tore down, fully sand blasted and painted, OEM Nissan caliper seal kit.-$250
-Agency power SS conversion brake lines-$55
TOTAL- $ 1,205

Drivetrain:
- Professionally welded diff, not just the gears but metal blocks were welded in there as well, guaranteed up to 350HP-$80
-South Bend stg 4 racing clutch, cryo treated, anyone unfamiliar with south bend's web site, set up made to handle 450HP reliably, still has soft pedal but will grip like crazy if you want to drift and feels like stock in city, it's awesome-$400
-freshly re surfaced flywheel, with NISMO clutch pivot ball-$80
-SS clutch lines all the way from master cylinder to slave cylinder-$75
-17" G35 rims and new tires-$600
TOTAL- $1,235

Interior and stereo:
- All stock, very mint. No rips tears or anything like that. When i got the car I had the carpets professionally cleaned.
-Pioneer CD/MP3/I pod player-220
-Alpine front and rear speakers-$200
- Phoenix Gold Amplifier-$250
-Alpine Type R 12" subwoofer.-$150
-Nismo black shift knob-$70
-Viper secerity system-$250
TOTAL- $1140

Grand total of $6,513.00 in just parts alone plus the cost of the orignal car, you can't find a a better deal that as well built and realiable as this!
