Ive looked into them all, they all claim theyre great

but im looking for proof and someone that has some experience with them (i.e. has it for self)

Ive looked at greddy Emanage, Power FC pro, Haultech, LINK... and ive heared mixed reviews about NISSDATA locally...and thats where its being tested...here locally at Secret Services on scotts 455hp monster S13

but if im going to spend $1k +

i want to make the right decission and not have to buy another $1k+ unit because first turnd out to be not what i was looking for

thanks in advance for any input/comments/sugestions

also, this maybe useful

95 SE, s13 red top SR motor, going beigger turbo and injectors
looking for high 300's maybe dip into 400's if tunning goes good

The emanage isn't what you're looking for. It's a piggyback fuel controller, basically.
The Haltech was used on Duy's old car, a 600+hp KA-T.
And I've heard a ton of good things from people running the Apexi Power FC.

Isn't Scott's SR (or didn't it) run 409rwhp on just tuning and an apexi AFC?
That's the cheapest, easiest route.

With provisions for timing functions, IIRC.

I ran a Haltech E6K on my 90 RX-7 that wa ver un-stock. i liked it alot. pretty user friendly, and tons of support for it through other users/tuners.

Ive recently grown pretty attatched to the F.A.S.T. stand alone though at work. We've installed them on everything from 750+hp dailydriven 4.6 mustangs, to a 500rwhp 03 dodge truck. If you are going to do the tuning yourself, i highly suggest the FAST. It comes with its own wideband O2 sensor, and is very user friendly. It uses the wideband to actively correct your preset fuel map based on the target a/f you give it, and the % of correction you allow it to do...........very nice ****.

I know the new Profec E01 uses the GReddy emanagement system, but has anyone tried to use that in conjunction w/ their cars?
