OK so a while back my boost controller started to hate life and i started overboosting (reaching like >15 psi on stock t25 turbo)... so i just decided to bypass the boost controller and run boost of the WG... ever since then though whenever im driving for a while then slow down almost to a stop i can smell what i think is oil burning and see bluish smoke from my exhaust.

The smoking only occurs when i slow down. ther is no noticable smoke when im cruising or WOT

Im guessing i have some oil related problem most likely with my turbo do you think that rebuild of my turbo is necessary is something else that should be changed like oil lines to the turbo or something

i have a redtop sr20det w/ stock turbo

thanks for any help

May not be your problem but you can try rechecking your vacuum lines are tapping at the right places. Make sure the bottom one under the throttle body is plugged if you're not using it. I remember a similiar thing happened to me.

If that doesn't k your valve guide seal could be shot. Sounds like my old RB when I stop at a light all the smoke sails by. :faint:

Turbo seals are done...check for shaft play on your turbo.

little smoke on startup too?

if so its 100% your valve stem seals.
