just picked one up a few weeks ago from my brother and have gotten pretty good at some tricks already, anyone ever play with one of these?

I found a rusty one at a friends house, I started playing with it and sliced the shit out of my hand. thank god for that tetanus shot

I do i've been using them since i was like 5 in the philippines... thats were the best one was..and also at batangas..they have the biggest one's there, and the one they sell here at china town are POS, i've gone through like 6 of them cuz the handle always breaks on me, and i only got cut like 2x not serious thou... but yea its really fun, the best one's are made by Benchmade, but they go for like $100+++...

yea i want a benchmade bad since the one i have is a cheapo one but for now while im learning to do some stuff ill stick with it

Yes, they are illegal in Cali and possibly the entire U.S.
I carry around a Spyderco NativeIII and have a cheap M tech knife in the car.

any gravity and mechanically opened knife is illegal in CALI..
has to be with a thumb and a finger.

switchblades and "gravity knives" are illegal here in Missouri, too. stores still have them, though. i've gone through a half dozen butterflies, but my current carry knife is a Buck ASAP, which is assisted open but somehow still legal.

thinking about getting an automatic converted 110, though.

this therad is now just about knives. not specific knives

the one i had broke on me too. almost got my foot! well, maybe almost somewhere on my upper body too cuz i did it in a tight place then the blade flew and bounced on the wall then i dodged and it landed near my foot
