Selling a 1993 240SX convertible... here's some random details off the top of my head:
white exterior... stripped interior. only bits remaining are the driver's seat, dash and center console. i do have the door panels and rear qtr panels and will include them
there is no top assembly
there are no rear qtr windows, nor side windows. I do have the power side windows though, and will include them (they are off the car)
car has a good 5 speed manual transmission already
car was daily driven before being parked...with a basic tuneup it should be back to daily drivable condition again
the rear right qtr panel has been cut out.. this was to facilitate construction of a custom widebody
the right outside door handle was sloppily shaved with a patch panel my friends welded in place w/o telling me. i was going to shave the doors anyways, but i was going to do it myself... their welding experience was a bit more limited, and so the skin has slight warping. it is an easy fix though, and i would recommend just shaving both doors correctly, then fixing the warpage in the panel afterwards
there are 5 lug hubs installed on the rear, and I will be including a set of 5 lug hubs for the fronts along with some good, used 5 lug front brake rotors (front is rolling on 4 lug SE alloy wheels right now)
Ok, list of parts that will be included, again off the top of my head:
car
5 lug front hubs and brake rotors
inside door panels, inside rear qtr panels
both electric window assemblies
brand new Dmax front and rear overfenders... choice of pop-up headlight or silvia front fenders, and choice of +30 or +50mm rears (optional...see below)
brand new Dmax or SuperMade bodykit...with choice of front end type (optional...see below)
To give an idea of the best way to approach this car...these are my personal suggestions on what to do to it:
use dry ice and remove all the sound deadening
por15 all interior surfaces, including the trunk
put a roll cage in (I can hook the buyer up with one of the best cage builders in the bay area)
put a racing seat in
install the front 5 lug hubs, and get a nice set of wheels all around
put the overfenders and bodykit on, paint, and drive it as is till the KA24 dies (it's still running strong, so this might take a while if you aren't an abusive driver), then swap something else in
I would highly recommend trailering or towing the car.. it's been sitting at a friend's body shop in San Jose for a while now... which is the main reason I'm going to sell it. I had given him the car to complete, but he's too busy trying to keep his own biz going to work on a fun side project, too... so I figure it's time to sell and hopefully someone else can make something good out of it. It's got a clean title, and I honestly don't remember how many miles... I want to say it was around 140-150K or so. Asking... hmmm... $1400 for the car as listed above, w/o the Dmax or SuperMade parts. Or $1800 for the car with a set of four Dmax overfenders. Or $2500 for the car plus a set of four Dmax overfenders and Dmax bodykit. Or $2700 for the car plus a set of four Dmax overfenders and a SuperMade bodykit. Something like that....
only pics i could find now:
