i have a sr20de, s15 spec s,
the orginal plan was to convert it to sr20det zenki harness to powerfc for tuning.
power fc is BRAND NEW

car will run with the DE harness with the ecu

sr20de NA distrubtor, spark plug wire, no ignitor,
reason why doing this is sr20de has no support for aftermarket tuning software.

i did the wiring, assuming is right......
can post some pic in about a few....

check the relay, near the ecu, i dont know if its working, checked it with a test light see if theres currrency going through it.

lst relay, has 2 power signal on the relay
2nd relay (one wire coming from the coilpack) has 1 power signal coming through.

WOULD THIS BE NORMAL?
i bought these relay from a local autostore i dont know if i need a specific relay. its a 4 pin, relay one on each corner. on the bottom is flat across.
if someone knows the part number that would help me alot...

when i put it on ON position the controller will not turn on. assuming the power fc is not getting power. RELAY???

if some one has the relay part number, wiring diagram for s14 zenki. or did this convertion, please give some advice.

also the de comes with 270cc injectors.
but that wouldnt make the power controller not turn on right??

Jeff its joe the blk guy with the wht coupe are you selln the bee*R? I will cash you out asap. I had the same prob when i swapped mine my ecu wasnt getting power i replaced the two relays wich were green and blue with ones from pick n pull green and blue that solved my prob.The ones i got from pick n pull had the same numbers with the same open close sign switch on it that was 2 years ago havnt had a prob since then.

I i think that was the ignition relay or what ever they said it was from nissan.

theres tuning support for DEs. usually in sentras tho. not much difference.

but for your problem i would say try a new relay. check on autozone.com and look up the relays. i think they would have all listed

I tried th autozone relays no luck just try the pick n pull ones i do have extras but there in richmond im in vallejo they came from a running car to. Hit me up 707 712 0584. O is the check engine light coming on when you turn the key on?

Get OEM relays and such from any Nissan at your local junkyard. It's a lot cheaper.

Also to note, the AEM EMS will tune a SR20DE with or without coil packs. It's all in the settings.

i changed the relay on it, power fc turned on. BUT im not getting sparks.
i know for a fact chasing down the wiring on the 2nd relay that would lead to coilpack. for the most part two wires are going to the coilpack harness.

i dont know does this relay make a difference or not but. its in 30amp

4 wires relay
2 wires goes to coil pack harness
2 wires are ground

i dont know does s14 sr20det zenki requires a special relay for this one

Not sure on amperage but PDF says the blue and green relays or the same. There should be two for your ignition. You replaced one well replace the other. My relays blew because my wiring was wrong so double check you wiring.

Why are you hooking up a powerfc? are you going to turbo the DE? i have a spec S also that im going to turbo.. been doing a lot of research on it.

tell me what relays you need and ill give em to you out of my fuse block out of my stripped S13

also how do you wanna do this whole windshield trade thing?
if you can come down i can call a guy (proffessional) to swap em, hes the one that put the windshield in to begin with

and you have to run a power Fc because DE wiring harnesses doesnt have the wiring for Coils and CAS, Im also building the exact same motor as Jeff.
Im sure you could also use a DET harness and ECU somehow but this is a much easier route.

i apologize for the confusion there is almost impossble ways to tune a DE, reason why the ecu plug is different than DET. DE runs on Coilpack and DIStru, what i heard that AEM EMS has the right stuff for it. but MSRP on EMS cost 1600. vs PFC Ljetro 800 and PFC Djetro for 1200.

correct me if im wrong, coilpack and CAS fuction more Efficient dant wires and dis.

Yeah your right coils are more efficient BUT NO BEE*R
AHH i guess.. Your gonna crush 250whp i told you my dyno numbers.

update. i have 2 ignitor chip. one end from the coilpack is getting power. but the other end of ignitor chip is not getting power through.

thereford could it be possible be the wiring.(relay) or ignitor chip

has anyone have a bad ignitor before, and would possible.

???

Its the chips it always is. I have some q45 chips hit me up if u want them.

i shall let you know if i need them.
right now i just drop off the ignitor to my firend he is going to test the ignitor for me.
hopefully im right about the 2 ignitor chip
