Do 17x9 Front wheels rub even with tien coilovers? I heard they his the top perch and I would need 15mm Spacers. Has anybody done this, and not need spacers?

I have about 5mm of space between my coilover and my inner lip. I'm on 17x9 +17 running -3 camber. If you're rubbing just get a spacer or another set of wheels.

With a positive offset like 35 or so you may need a 10-15mm spacer. If your running like +20 or less you should be good.

If your car is an S14 you will need a 10mm spacer, and extended studs.
If you have an s13 you will need a 8mm spacer, no extended lugs needed.
How do I know this? Because I have the sprt MAX 962 rims on my s13, and s14.

Just spend a little more and buy 25mm spacers.
Most come with extended studs and screws for your original studs.

Like above.
And to top it off, you'll probably regret not getting 25mm if you buy 15mm
because most people end up wanting a bit more "poke"

17x9+22 dont rub on an S14 with Eibach Sportlines on KYB GR-2s, since you have coilovers you will have more inside clearance so id say a +35 shouldnt rub but theres only 1 way to be 100% sure :)

Shocks and springs /= coilovers.
The lowest offset you can go on an s chassis with coils and 9" wheels is a 17x9 +25-22.
That's getting lucky, it also depends on how you have your preload set up.

Pics of your car and ride height would be important here.
I find that hard to believe since I had an S13 with 17x9 +12 (5mm spacer) with a 215/45/17 and it rubbed when turning.

You can see smoke from the tire rubbing.

Nice viper. Thanks, I actually have the sportmazz 962's. Also I have the Rota Grid +15 offset 16x8. I have some volks te37's but they dont look great. Thanks guys. I will try the 8mm studs first. The rear I am putting a widebody on, So I will need some spacers back there. Thanks.

on my s13. stock fenders. front wheel - 17x9.5 +14 and also 17x9 +4 or something.
on my S14. stock fenders. front wheel - 17x9 +-0
I rubbed some tire on the fender here and there, but then again, the cars were low.

Grids are +15, Custom for my AE86, but I am selling my AE86 soon. I just decided to widebody, and convert the front to s15. Since I sold my MK4 supra I am kinda depressed. That gives me the excuse to work on one of my cars.

I got a questions for you guys I contemplating rota grid's 18x9.5 +20 all around would that clear springs and agx shocks on a s13?
!Zar!

There aren't really any clearance issues with shocks and springs.
Coilovers are what you need to watch out for.

So, I can get a 18x9.5 +20 on the front of a s13 with shock and springs without a clearance issues?

I have tein hrs and sportmaxx 962 17x9s as well.
25mm spacers, 25mm overfenders, and i dont rub (front coils all the way down).
I did need 15mm spacers to clear the coils, but opted to go 25 so i wouldnt have to change my studs.
Heres a pic:

right now im running 17x9 spaced out to +4 with -3 camber with just a roll and i rub but not that bad only on full lock is when i rub. its flush on the fender oh and my coils are maxed out low with two collars on each side on the fronts. when i had them at 17x9 et 24 i didnt have any clearance issue with my coils.

im running 17x9 +28 with 235/40 up front and i dont rub at all....
I have 17x9 +17 and 255/40-17's on stock fenders without an issue. It does rub the framerail a hair right towards full lock(on the rack), but that's due to the tall tire and not very severe. I could probably run a bit more caster and be fine with the current setup 100%.
