so what happens in pool if you sink the black ball on your first shot?

no, i believe you win. It's only the cue (sp?) ball that's hit in on the break that results in a loss.

8 ball sorry. im referring to the "break". when the balls are set up in the triangle and you shoot at it and happen to get the black ball into a hole
