ok...u spent around $2000 on the motor...about 500-700 on the intercooler...bout 80 on a hotpipe...150-200 on a bov...50 on sparkplugs...100-150 on downpipe...yet u spend 25 on a cheap-o filter. after spending all that money on the motor and stuff u would be mad if that filter let a lot of crap in and fouled up you motor. atleast get a K&N or somethin.

Word, 10's are big. My brother's Roush Mustang comes with 18x10's and they come supercharged. Mad power needs mad rims. I mean, if you got the 500+hp to turn 12.5" rims, go for it..but why? Bigger, more expensive tires, less selection of rubber, and drifting could be a challange..lots of rubber to break loose. But whatever, if it's just a show car..go for it, nothing like tubbing out a 240 to squeeze in some 325/30/18 size Pilot Sports :naughtyd:

My car is not a show car, I will probably stick with what I got until next year or so. Then I will get something like 18 x 10 with 0 offset wheel. My car only makes 300hp for now.

No not really, I paid 80 bucks for the wheels, and I was lazy and impatient. :) Just cleaned em off a bit and gave em a good coat.

well here is my car nothing much....just got some tein tie-rods and new tires...once these tires are broken in...I'm going to hit some twisties :D I also repainted my wheels since they put the wieghts on the inside. I use two cans of clearcoat..2 wheels per can. :)

i actually wanted the real 5zigen fn01r-c's but couldn't find anyone who had them instock. So i said screw it and got the cheap ass imatations (exel f1's), wrong offset yea i know but i don't really mind, cuz i do plan on getting the real deal later when i do my 5lug/z32 brakes. But i might just run 20mm spacers on there in the meantime, but either way it doesn't bug me that my offset is completely off

...yeah they're stretched cuz I wanted to be able to lower the car and have full counter ability. The Tein HE's don't offer much clearance because of the lack of an eccentric type of mount... but yeah I like the tires stretched... hard sidewalls... less give... just my preference.

They are actually forged aluminum road race/autox wheels, made by circle racing. If you watch scca on tv you will see them. spendy, but light :hsdance:

Ahhsk - wiring problems. took her apart awaiting a new harness from Japan. taking the time to do alot of other things :) stay tuned. remeber those pics I had you send me of your setup? yeah Im working on my own plus the turbo upgrade I've had sitting under my desk for about a year now is fianlly going on. it's bolted to an SS autochrome SS mani and HKS style O2 extension one of the holes needs a touch of widening and it'll be back on the car. SS oil and coolant lines for the new turbo, 850cc injectors and a power FC. also replacing the blown suspension. and a paint job. and... well who knows. lol while I've got it apart im just going wild withit till the money runs out :) then I wont do anything but drive till I blow the bish up. you'll see it in May at Road Atlanta if your coming. I *might* take pics before then. :)

Funny you ask there are a select few I will consider on the parts thing. but about the rims on average $800~$1250 for the R33 GTR RIMS depends on who is selling them and usually japanese people don't haggle and are alyways firm unless you are pretty convincing. I am buying a lot of rims right now I have the Keichitsuchiya rims on mine right now but I will prep them for paint next week I have three sets or R32 rims.

As much as I love that damn car, it's loosing it's practicality. My daughter is getting bigger and can barely fit in the back seat (while in the car seat) and I am looking to stop spending money on mods and such. My analness on routine maintenance has taken it's toll on me also. I am always working to make sure that she is in great condition and it just takes up too much of my time.

i did use my old Kouki 180sx bumper part..the part that bolts to the chassis..er.hard to describe.but you can mod/cut the chuuki one to fit
since the nose of the kouki is shorter, the chuuki bracket part wont fit perfect unless you mod it
i usd my kouki one

the bumper support, if you want to keep it you need to cut up the AIT bumper vents to get it to fit, wont work unless you mod it, but you just cut out some parts of it. hard to describe but when you have it, it slike..'oh ok that's easy'

dremel is the most important tool!!!
takes a good 2 hours to get the bumper fitting 'decent'

I painted the bumper and intercooler of course hehe, its something I guess to get less attraction. No i didn't use regular black spray paint. I got radiator black spray paint used by car companies on their radiators. It matches my car color pretty good too. My car is a work in progress still, but hey its something.

All I did was sand down the exterior, mask everything off and spray it with Krylon.
Do one panel or area at a time other wise the paint can get stripey looking.
By the time you get back to the other side it will be dry enough to paint, so put another layer on it.

Try to have a steady hand and a clean tip and will we be alright.

I had to get rid of the red engine bay as well..
