My buddy's (FF Drifter on here) project 99% complete- Nissan/SR content -56k marginal

This is FF Drifter's car. It's a '91 G20/Nissan Primera. It rides on JIC SF-1's and Sparco NS-II Speeders (from the mid-90's). It previously had a stock SR20DE with an Avenir turbo/top-mount-IC. That setup ended up blowing up the stock SR20DE. Well, it's back, and better than ever with a red-top SR20DET out of a Nissan Bluebird and a Spearco FMIC. I :heart: this car :D :P

nice car, but how do FF cars drift? tail whip/ebrake power slide i can see, but most any car can do that

Well,the name comes from the tail happy nature of this fwd car.Its very easy to get the rear end of this car out an intiate a psuedo drift.

Ya,I like showing the pics to everyone,I feel this is quiet an acomplishment.The car really is alot of fun to drive,esp with the JIC MAGIC suspension,just need to throw my JIC fstb back on.

Heh, no one said he actually drifts. The car is just tail-happy, nothing more. The only time that car ever drifted was in a year-old Photoshop. FF Drifter is just a handle... :D

Thats what got me started. about 3 years ago before I even knew about drifting I drove a stock 94 eclipse gs-t. Whenever I would go through cloverleaf exits I would push the car untill the tires would start screaming. After a while I got to know how my car would react in the curve. Then they built an up hill cloverleaf exit by my house. It was perfect, it's very smooth, it starts as 1 lane and about halfway through it turns into 2 then 3 lanes. So when I would enter I would go around 50-55mph (2nd gear) and when the curve starts I would let off the gas witch caused the backend to swing out and when it got about 2 feet out I'd hit the gas and get up to about 62 and the backend would set about a foot and a half out. If i wanted the back out more I just let off the gas a little and if it was out too much I just gave it a little more gas, the fastest I could get up to was about 65 or 66 (redline). At the end when it turns into 3 lanes theres a lot of room to slide around. So I would do this almost every night around 2am. About 8 months later my friend and I went to a new shop in my area (project D) and they had an option video playing, it was love at first sight.

So now i'm getting ready to sell the gs-t but before i sell it I'm gunna make a little video with it in a few weeks.
