well you are wrong te72 would mean it has a 3tc motor and incase you cant read the sticker on the valve cover its a 4ac.

the breakdown of toyota's chassis codes goes: letter (engine block design. e.g.- A, T, M, J, etc etc for a 4A, 3T, 7M, or 1J respectively just as an example), letter (model. e.g.- E, X, etc which would correspond to the corolla chassis and cressida chassis respectively), number (generation of that chassis), and the last number (variance of that generation).

this car is just a late kouki model that was equipped with a 4A motor like the AE86 sr5 chassis after it. any more questions?
