No Robert Englund?

No one can play that character, like he did.

My immediate thought. I mean its not hard to do make up, but his voice. I am skeptical already.

Man you totally beat me to this. I was gonna post it up this morning.

I can't wait for this. Freddy's story really is one of the best in horror movie history. This movie is supposed to be very scary and not as campy as the Originals were.

The last 5 Jason movies sucked. But the remake that came out this year IMO was the ultimate Jason flick. If had everything you wanted in a Jason flick and so much more about him. Did you see it? I'm expecting this film to be good.

I still have not seen the new one. Kind of forgot about it. Hm is the same team who made Jason making Freddy?

All i know is Michael Myers is my favorite horror film guy I always like the story behind his movies but the part I like the most is how every movie starts off where the last one left off

The Jason movie is a remake of basically the first 3 movies in one. And honestly I think it's better then any of the original movies. You really should see it if you haven't but like the character.

Did Rob Zombie make this one? I know he talked about re-doing alot of the old horror flicks.

the friday the 13th reboot was awesome
the Halloween reboot was awesome
this will probably be awesome

also the best F13 is the fourth one with Corey Feldman. i'm pretty sure that's also the one where Jason throws a kid in a wheelchair down a flight of stairs, which they then show in pretty much every recap in every subsequent chapter.

Cant wait for this to come out, Even though Robert Englund isnt playing the part of Freddy, Jackie Earle Haley is going to be able to hold it down and make a great movie or else they wouldnt have casted him.

God Bless you sir.
I feel the same exact way.
The originals are fine the way they are, why must Hollywood tamper with it and decide to "reboot" it or whatever?
IMO, the production, year of filming, and original cast has a lot to do with why those originals were so good.

Agreed. Also I don't see how Haley is going to play the part of Freddy like we all know. Or maybe the producers want a change for the role?

Indeed. He did a great job with Friday the 13th and TF was enjoyable. Bay Boys and Armageddon were also great movies. This should be good.

You were probably implying the opposite, but get off the Anti-Bay bandwagon already. The dude makes some good movies.

It was pretty good. Definitely a head above most modern "scary movies".

I still prefer the original though. Mostly because the original's kills and setup were better. How the hell does a movie in the 80's outdo a movie from the 2000's for brutal factor?

It was Nightmare On Elm Street meets The CW, but keeps an R rating.

I still am skeptical. I'll get around to seeing it in the near future I guess.
Michael Bay's name is on it. Unghhhhhh

Also, I do not like the fact that they are trying to say this movie is "more serious" / "better" than the original. That is impossible.

What made Freddy so cool was his humorous ways!

i've been trying to figure that out for a long time now. i use to hate when my brother would make me watch those old movies as a kid,i would damn near cry and pissmyself during the original F13 movies, but all these remakes are lame enough to laugh at

That is exactly what it was man holy crap.

I was trying to explain to my wife why it sucked but i couldn't find the words but those were it.

All i know is that, it was one of the worst movies Ive seen in a while.

A disgrace to the original IMO.

Soup Nazi

Yes indeed a disgrace to the original. And I haven't even seen it, and I don't plan to either.

I'll just watch parts 1 and 2 this week
