Seems simple enough, but why waste extra money when you could do the same thing with a $3 can of rustoleum?

thats what i thought as well, but i heard that the heat from the braking will make the paint fade and chip off....????? hhhhhhmmmmmmm

So get engine paint, I used Duplicolor with ceramic and it's shown no signs of fading or coming off. I've had the brakes hot enough that they were smoking on several occasions.

Why the fuck would it matter if the rotor hat is painted or not, its gonna get covered by the wheel and caliper anyways.

^^rust on the rotors is what people in winter climates usually deal with. Red painted OE calipers stand out like a female stripper with a massive cock.

dont see the point of painting the rotor face. Its gunna be covered by the rims anyway. Plus it looks ridiculous. I mean some rotors we replace here come with the face painted black but why would you want it any other color??

imo painting it is just stupid, changes the surface that the pad meets the rotor. unless the actual rotor is made of that color it will fade anyways. rotors get thinner with use and that layer on the outside will fade away.

I painted the innards of my J30 front rotors duplicolor aluminum colored high heat paint (like 1000*). Keeps em looking new for yearssss. Idk about different colors though.
