Yay! Just picked a new toy.

Just got back from Sams (Jspec.com) house and picked up:

"A PAIR of 17x9 +15 offset 5x114.3mm bolt pattern."

Gonna use these as my beater rims. I really like the 15 offset part. Just thought I would like to share. :)

Might look kinda wacky cause I only have 2 of them. 2 typhoons and 2 of those would clash. But I might just do it for the hell of it. For 200 bucks for those wheels I just bought you can't lose!

I'm debating wether to run those in back or put them up front and have 9's all around

and yes it does fit in the front with no clearence problems. Clears coilovers AND z brakes :)

Slighty yes. But my Eibach Springs threw out my camber -2 or so if not more. I'll get pics. Looks very nice. The +15 offset VS my +35 offset made a HUGE diffrence on that look.

Is the FN01R just a diffrent name for the beckets? I seen the refered to both ways.

I believe 5zigen has imported some of them, and distributed them, so some people call them 5Zigen FN01R's....

hmm.. huge? really? Before and after pics of the fender flushness would be awesome..

20mm = ~.8" does't seem like a lot.. but I guess it is.

My friend is trying to sell me 225/45/17 azeni's for the rear but I think that probely would not fit. Espcially since those tires sidewall seems bigger then other tires with the same size. I'd rub the hell outta my fenders. Not sure if rolling the fender would solve the problem though

i cant stand thaifoons. i see them on 240s all the time, from S13-S14. beckets are nice though, good price.

why is everyone calling them taifoons, or thaifoons. Isn't the correct spelling Typhoons. IIRC there is a copy of them called taifoons.

I still think thier nice but I do agree they are on a lot of 240s. With time most rims will become really popular unless they go out of production or are really expensive.

umm yeah, the post says nothing about TYPHOONS or 5 zigen, besides a box in the background. i can go to 7-11 and buy a pair of "oakleys" for $7 with the box and all, are they real????
