was wondering if anyone was running an aim strada? and how you mounted it. Putting one in my s13 hooked up to the aem ems system. Having a little trouble with the actually mounting of the unit. at first used a spare s13 gauge cluster and made an acrylic mounting plate with a whole cut out for the wiring harnesses, and glued the plate to the gauge bezel. told now by my shop that is doing the aem tuning, and wiring and inital setup for me, that the way i have it mounted won't work. didn't give me details though.
So juat wanted to get some feed back.

Im guessing you are talking about the display?
they supply you with a template for its mounting holes in the rear. Just build a cluster replacement out of flat plastic, use the template, drill the holes. Done. If they didnt give you the template i think they have them available online.
I used 1/8 thick carbon fiber purchased from a robot supply store i found on google. Turned out really nice and is mounted solid.
Just make sure you mount the box with all of the sensor inputs horizontal and calibrate the X-Y G sensors with Race Studio.
