Yes, as long as you swap upper timing chain covers as well (keeping the 92 front cover with the 92 head). Only 1 bolt will not line up, and it isn't important.

what's the upper timing chain covers, and is there a performance difference between the 2 types of heads. Is the swap hard to do? If possible pics would be nice...Thanks Jeff in advance

ok...so I did some more rereacrch about the compatibility of the s13 and the s14 head. This is some of the stuff that I found:

"To answer the question, there ARE differences. The 91-94 head is milled for a different valve cover, with different size threads and placement of the bolts. Another critical difference is the 91-94 heads do not have the bolt hole tapped behind the upper timing cover where the distributor meets up in the same place as the 95-98, so using a an earlier head will cause an oil leak if that's not sealed. Sunbelt Motors showed me that trick. "

Ace- I know you did the head swap before, I was wondering if you had any problems with this or anything thing else during the swap, could you feel a difference in performance???

Couldn't tell a difference in performance because of the head since I had ported/ polished it before installing it (thus it wasn't really a stock S13 head).
The bolt hole behind the distributor doesn't really matter. Didn't leak for me, at least. Like I said, only 1 bolt didn't line up, and it wasn't a very important bolt.

The upper timing chain cover is the front cover. It's what the distributor mounts up to.

what kind of head gasket did you use...s13 or s14?

OEM headgasket is probably the best thing out at the moment. Takes about a month or so to get it, though.

wait.. are you saying you feel no extra oomph after port/polish? i was thinkin about doing it to mine since my friend has an oil-eating ka sittin' in his garage that i can nab parts from:P(swapped in an sr20det)
