im measuring my piston to cylinder wall clearance on my sr20det and i end up with an average gap of .0025in i am aware that oem nissan specs are .0004in - .0012in Ive heard of setups with gaps of .0045in with forged pistons, to me that seems like alot even with forged pistons expanding. i wanted to know if you could go any further with oem pistons safely and reliably?

no im very sure all measurements are of inches not mm. if anyone could post up what kind of pistons they have used and the clearance i would appreciate it. or if anyone knows the difference in size between the oem 0 1 and 2 grade pistons would be nice.

well i upgraded my pistons from the stock to to mahle pistons and i had to bore it .20mm over stock! if bought my pistons from enjuku, and theY explained it all to me . MM is the standard.
