wtt: 08 sti for datsun 510 + cash

this is only a gauging interest thread
i am looking to downgrade from car payments to none......
i want to trade for a datsun 510....before 1975.....

i owe 21,286 on my car as of right now.......im asking 31,500 so i would have around 10k cash to spend on a datsun......
ive seen some clean ones go for 5-6k and swapped ones go for around 10-12k

right now im pretty strapped for cash.........i can still afford the car but cash is still tight......so im debating if i really want to get rid of her and free up some money........

for sale is an 08 sti lightning red
it was the bbs package with no nav
i have put a good amount of money into this car since i bought it back in december. car has 10xxx miles on it. properly broken in and went stage 2 at about 7k miles. car is very solid. no problems with it. oil chaged at 2500-3000 miles with motul 5w30
im looking for 31,500(outright sale)

(will include stock downpipe and stock swaybars.....)

i might be missing somethings but for the most part that is all the mods.....

id rather not have the car payment every month......having a project car is way more interesting to me.......i hate the fact of having no money to do anything for myself every month....

with no car payment up i can have fun modding.....and still have money for myself.....i can spend at my own pace too.....with a car payment...it has to be that same amount every month...

how easy is modding a daily driver?

depends on exactly what you are doing to it.......
all the stuff i have done to my car.......has taken no more than a day of work.....
so i have had no downtime with this car.........

if you are building the engine or doing like a rotated kit and all supporting mods then you will have downtime.......but none of that has been done to my car........

if its small stuff.....its all easy...its when you do major stuff is when you start not having a car...

i wasnt a fan at first
til i saw one on the road......middle of 2008......and they look amazing when they are driving....then i started falling for them
same with the evo x
i didnt like em at first til 1) i saw one in person n they started growing on me....and the power they make with very little mods
