Can anyone give me some more info about these. i.e. How many points of adjustment?, whether they are shock height adjustable? and where the adjustment screw is on the rears (side or top)

From the research I did on the kei office website (thats dousan!) I couldn't figure those out

I got em for cheap cheap! they listed 800 and I've already sold my old coilovers. So in essence I got em for 300 buckazoids! yay!

Bakari: You are ALL about the fmic now!:D Some of the hondas up there would tear us a new one though. But with that is300 meet and finals coming up I don't think we'll have a chance to do it anytime this weekend:(

Good people, I emailed them asking em to hold em till I found a buyer for my worldsports. They held em for a week even without taking a deposit. Once I paid they emailed me a tracking number the next day. So far service is A+

Motors are pretty expensive though, but there other parts have good prices.

IRC the s14 kei's office XR is 9/8 (you have a s14 right?)
I have no idea why... any one know why the spring rates are different between the s13 and s14 versions? Most all of the other coilovers i've seen have the same spring rate between s13 and s14 versions. Oh well, have fun tell us how they ride after you install them :) Hell lot better than your old WS i can bet :D

you MAY not have gotten such a great deal!

As many of us know, touge/drift people (i.e. owners of Kei Office XRs) love to beat and mistreat their cars (like me)... so you shouldn't be surprised if you find a blown shock (from too many drit drop drifts at the track and general abuse) or rusting pieces (from drifting in rain) or other not-so-good-condition parts....
so yeah. I hope none of them are blown!

Not saying you DIDN'T get a good deal, but just to be careful when picking up 2nd hand stuff (in general)...

All I can say is there is nothing wrong, imo, with JIC suspension. Quality, function, performance, etc. But the USA branch of JIC are rude, snobby bastards. But I bought my coilovers before the Benson incident, and I went through Wayne. SO I was giving him business and not JIC (directly). But yeah JIC USA is a bunch of f_ckers.

thats interesting.. I had a fairly lengthy email conversation with one of their employees today, and yesterday. He was very helpfull, and polite.

When I first looked into buying them, thier responses where very quick, and polite, and very knowledgable.

Maybe you guys have dealt with them face-2-face though, and have had a different experience?

i've met them in person. ugh.
one guy was nice, he was a japanese guy and helpful. called back a bit later and got some HUGE attitude from the other guy. extremely rude and impolite. lost 2 sales that day (dorifto and i and possibily kook were about to buy bucket seats)

That is NOT cool. In terms of there actual products I wouldn't know because I've never tried em, but any company who would do something like that is definatley not trustworthy, and I would not purchase there product either.

Aaron, don't worry I'm not giving you attitude. Just wanted to know WHY JIC was so bad. You always talked about it, but never explained or elaborated. No hard feelings about the questions about your coilovers and a few installs.

Unfortunatly as is the case with a lot of companies in this market who get over whelmed with lowballers, people that just ask questions and all around annoying phone calls where no one buys ( retail in general :D ) the people start to get an attitude. You'll notice this at your local speedshops the most.

As sad and daunting as it is it IS reality and regardless of where you go you'll never find someone who will be super friendly all of the time.

Now I know JIC magic makes some quality stuff, I've seen/heard it first hand however like Dousan said I didn't exactly get the best CSI from them when I called jic-usa.
In buisness terms it's called snob appeal. And from a marketing standpoint it sometimes leads to better sales! Ask 350z owners:p

Jason: Ya gotta be carefull what you say on a forum, and I'm very glad that Dorifto and Dousan called you out. Since kei office isn't the most recognized company people will automaticly believe what they first hear. If what you said hadn't been corrected a lot of people could have read this and gotten the wrong impression about a potentially great company. Either way no harm done:D

JIC does not make Do-Luck's parts. JIC makes their suspension in Korea, all of Do-Luck's products are made in Japan. I have personally seen were the RXBs are made in Japan. The president of Do-Luck is good friends with the president of JIC but trust me, none of the Do-Luck products are made by JIC.

I'm geussing everything is okay now. KEI OFFICE MAKES GOOD STUFF EVERYONE, THERE IS NO RUMORS OR BAD STORIES ABOUT THEM. :)
