HUD always with digital dash?

JUst curious if the HUD always came with the digital dash or if it ever came with an analog dash?

When my dad was describing the parts he pulled for me the other day he though the dash he pulled with the HUD came with a regular analog dash, but I think he was just looking at the Tach and assumed that was the speedo without really looking at it.

always hud cluster w/ hud dash. simple as that.

but sometimes people swap it because the cluster is a POS and never works when cold/startup/etc
or they want the HUD cluster w/ their normal non-hud dash
